About ERA Alliance
A trust-based, educator-led network strengthening direct school-to-school cooperation across Europe.
Our Mission
ERA Alliance is a non-profit network created by educators to strengthen direct school-to-school cooperation in Erasmus+ and similar European mobility programmes.
We connect accredited schools and charter holders across Europe through a trust-based framework built on quality standards, safeguarding, and transparent professional cooperation.
Mission
To make European mobility direct, reliable, and learner-centred by helping schools cooperate without commission-based intermediaries.
Vision
A Europe where accredited institutions build long-term partnerships through verified trust, clear standards, and reciprocity.
Core Values
Quality & Verification
Clear standards and a transparent pathway to "ERA Verified Partner" status.
Direct Cooperation
School-to-school partnerships structured with confidence and directly arranged.
Safeguarding & Welfare
Learner safety and welfare as non-negotiable priorities in all partnerships.
Transparency & Ethics
Honest, accountable and ethical conduct across the network.
What We Do
ERA Alliance focuses on practical cooperation, supporting schools before, during, and after partnership building through three core functions.
Partner Matching
We help schools find the right partners based on their fields, capacity, and mobility needs.
Quality & Verification
We maintain standards and a clear pathway to "ERA Verified Partner" status to promote accountability and consistent quality.
Practical Support
We provide templates, guidance, and clear expectations so institutions can cooperate directly with confidence.
Why We Exist
Many schools face the same challenges: time-consuming partner searches, inconsistent hosting quality, and budget pressure caused by commission-based intermediaries.
ERA Alliance exists to restore professional control to schools. Mobility should be organised as an educational cooperation, not purchased as a product.
Our Principles
- School-to-school cooperation first
- Learner-first use of public mobility funds
- Verified trust through standards and peer accountability
- Safeguarding and learner welfare as non-negotiable priorities
- Transparency, responsiveness, and ethical conduct
- Inclusion and equal access to mobility opportunities
- Reciprocity and long-term partnership building

What Makes Us Different

Our Story
ERA Alliance was developed from real operational needs in international mobility: schools needed reliable partners, clear standards, and a simple way to cooperate directly. The network is built by practitioners with long-term experience in European projects, mobility coordination, and institutional partnership building.
